  • GEOS 105 Introduction to Environmental Geosciences
    This course is grounded in fundamental scientific concepts needed to understand and evaluate key components of the Earth System, including the Earth’s water, land, atmosphere, and inhabitants.  After learning these fundamentals, we will next discuss global and regional environmental issues within the Earth System including pollution, water resources, land and coastal degradation, habitat loss, energy alternatives, and climate change.
